It’s been a sad weekend in the entertainment world as Sunday afternoon, Issac Hayes died. Per CNN.com: ” Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department. Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m., the sheriff’s department said.”

As a soul star, singer of “Shaft” and voice of “chef” on South Park, he’ll be missed..

He recently was brought up during the Tom Cruise and Scientology debate as well on Oprah. Despite that controversy, we’ll wish him and his family the best. RIP Issac Hayes..

It was a sad weekend in the comedy world, as Bernie Mac died this weekend at age 50. He had a previous condition and recently dealt with a bout of pneumonia. As star of the Bernie Mac show and various other movies, he’ll be missed. As a prior Oprah guest, we wish the family and fans of Bernie Mac our best. RIP big man…
